Australia the "Super Power" by year 2050

September 11 2003

Prime Minister John Howard said today " If not America who would be a preferred superpower".Most probably a future country so deserving of such a title; Strength of government, educated population, size of country, and the resources of that country deemed valuable in the "face of the world", factor in. A "Super Power" of tomorrow must also be very responsible with such power.

A responsible nation cannot become a superpower without a super population, unless there is a distinctive force to prove and show such. In a changing world as to energy security and environmental solutions demanded, a future "super power" must be "heavily" involved in energy security and environmental solutions.

Power really must be equalled by the force of such a nation in the areas of energy security and environmental solutions. Big power requires big force in such categories. Australia has vast resources that have resulted in its "AAA" credit rating for some time. Such a rating may in fact be realised a lot sooner that first thought. For Australia I am sure would have been in the Prime Minister’s mind when he made those comments today, September 11 2003.

Responsibility and securing future energy demand, as with hydrogen as the new energy carrier of the twenty first (21st) century, may in fact be Australia’s monumental "trump card". Who would have conceived this was at all possible ten (10) years ago. In fact Australia today could in fact start pre-contractual strategies with Asia, Europe, and the USA, to supply hydrogen as their future energy carrier as well, at the cheapest market price, by year 2015.The power of environmental solutions, and the power of energy security given to such countries, with returns from each the same in foreign exchange, sum totalling greater than our foreign debt by year 2050,or sooner.

It is reasonable to assume that most countries will seek hydrogen as their future energy carrier as like Australia, America, Iceland, Canada, Japan, Germany, Europe, and China. Further, most may not become self sufficient for some time. Acknowledgments from most if not all of the above countries mentioned, would be in their best interests, to be able to secure today their future supply of the renewable energy carrier being hydrogen, at the lowest guaranteed future price.

It may not be as "far fetched" to say that given Australia’s current world status, it could be very persuasive as to actually securing preliminary intent as to future hydrogen energy carrier contracts.I think Australia would have quite a basis to support its sales "pitch".
